	3/17 - Massive outbreak of Spring Fever hit hard this week. Help us officially welcome Spring on Saturday night at Huck’s Cove in Gautier. Like I said a couple of weeks back, on the bayou, under the stars, a very fun place to play. Great place to bring the family out to eat. Hope you can make it out. We begin around 7:30 until 11:30. Kid friendly until the kitchen closes at 9:00(watch out for the redheads running around). Take care and let’s pray that the weekend gets here quickly. Mike C.

	3/3 - We are back in Biloxi this weekend at Gorenfloes. 9:30 starts both nights. Always a fun place to play. Couple of weeks back we were at the President Casino. Thanks to those of you who came out. We had a blast and are looking at possible June dates back over there. Saturday Night March 20 we will be at Huck’s Cove in Gautier with Sharon and the Gang at Huck’s under the stars and on the bayou. Take Care, Mike C.

	We get our first shot at the Casino scene this weekend at the President in Biloxi. Carolyn Rasmussen at the President saw us and was kind enough to give us a shot over there. We are excited and looking forward to the opportunity. If you are over that way, come by and see us. They have a real first class show area. We’re not gonna know how to act not packed into a corner somewhere. We start at 8:00 pm both Friday and Saturday Nights. Also next weekend we will be putting together a surprise celebration for Lindsey’s birthday( he doesn’t get email). Hula’s is the place in P-Goula and The Oasis Band will be playing. More later. 	Ladies and Gents we are playing over at Gorenflos in Biloxi this weekend January 9-10. Starts are at 9:30 both nights. We had a lot of fun over there a few months back and are glad to be playing back to back nights this weekend. Like we said earlier- great view of the Gulf, fun group to work with, and great crowd of all ages. Hope some of you can make it over that way. Thanks to those of you who came and celebrated New Years Eve with us at the Reef in the LaFont. We were set up in the banquet rooms and plenty of folks rang in the new year with us. We had fun and from where we were standing so did a lot of others. We are in lying low for January and February playing only one weekend each month. We will kick it up a notch again in March. Our next outing will be February 20-21 at the President Casino in Biloxi. Watch the local entertainment papers for details. Please forward the email to those whom you think might like what we do. 	Here we go! OUT with 2003, IN with 2004. As has been our experience around here, we are usually looking last minute for a gathering (once we finally decide that we will go out New Year’s Eve). Well the La Font has us all covered this year. AND just so happens our little band gets the honor of entertaining. SO SPREAD THE WORD!!!!! THE place to be around P-Goula New Years is the REEF in The La Font INN. Call The LaFONT 228.762.7111 for all the details. We hope to see ya out. 	Happy Holidays one and all. Hope ya’ll are ready or getting ready for the Christmas Festivities. For New Years, if your thinking that far ahead at this time, we will be playing at The Reef in the LaFont Inn in P-Goula. They have a pretty good special for the evening. $69.95 per couple will get you a room for the evening, entry to the party, champagne, and party favors. Otherwise the cover at the door for the evening is $25.00 per couple. Watch the paper for details or contact the LaFont at 228.762.7111. Also I want to let you know that we will be at Gorenflo’s in Biloxi January 9-10. In February, the 20-21, we will be playing at The President Casino in Biloxi. More on these dates later. 	Saturday Night, November 15, 2003 we invade Hurricane Cove in Ocean Springs. H-Cove is across the Fort Bayou Bridge in OS on the right side. This is a popular place in OS and we hope to meet and play before folks we have not before. If you get out and are in the area come by and see us. Check out the web page. Walt has added music and live shots under the calendar section of the page-Tiki Movie. Thanks Walt. 	<--- Halloween Pictures (click on one, scary huh?) Well, chalk it up to my being absent minded(old), too busy, or the semi-controlled chaos Kim and I oversee called Cunningham house, I booked a gig and forgot to tell anyone—including Robert, Lindsey, and Jim. I definitely “ain’t” no solo act (ahh the horror!). Thankfully they are available and very forgiving. Back in early October, Eddie and I booked us at the Tiki for this Saturday Night November 8,2003. We will begin a little earlier—around 8:30. We will try and stop around 12:00. We will still play for 3 hours, just take shorter breaks. SO please help spread the word. Those of you going to see Alan Jackson stop by on your way back through. Thanks to Mimi Bosarge and her help in spreading the word about Lightnin’ Strikes via her column in the Mississppi Press Plus. Also, all of you who came out Halloween, we thank you for making that one very interesting evening. I have seen the pictures and it ain’t pretty. Hope to see you out this weekend. 	<--- At Gorenflo's Just a quick message to remind everyone we will be at the Tiki on Halloween Night for a big party. Also, everyone knows and has heard of Friday Night Gigolos. Help support their video and their shot to have the video played on MTV as winners of the collegetelevision.com ( an mtv subsidiary) nationwide contest in search of the best unsigned music video. This is a big deal folks. Go to the web sight and check out the video and vote for FNG and their college affiliate-- University of Southern Mississippi. These guys have really worked hard and are very focused. Check them out and give them a vote. Pass the word. See you next week. p.s. Gorenflos was great. If you were not there, should have been. Tiki Movie	This weekend (Saturday night only) we are playing for the first time Gorenflo's on Marina Pointe in Biloxi. It has been awhile since I was over that way, but from what I hear this place has a pretty lively crowd. Spectacular view of the Gulf, great crowd built in, we are pretty excited about playing over there for people who may not have heard us (or of us) before. Hope some of you who come out routinely can make the trip over. Those of you on that side of the bay and west JC who do not venture over our way much, come out and see what’s going on with Lightnin’ Strikes. We’re gonna have a good time and so will you. EXIT	Apparently an operator error(me) prevented last week's email for Tiki dates going out. Thanks to all who found out and came over. That was all for September. I'll be in Austin for the Austin City Limits Music Festival the other weekend we play in September. We are back at the Tiki this weekend 9/5 - 9/6 (provided we are not battling a hurricane). This will be our only dates for September at this time. Two weeks ago we had some of the best crowds of the summer-- size and fun wise. Hoping for more of the same this weekend. The Deck in OS will probably start having bands after they get up and running in Sept. Will keep you posted. SO no Sept 13 gig. I will be out of town in Austin for the Austin City Limits Music Festival our other weekend we normally play. October should be busy will let you know as soon as we confirm dates.
